Psychedelic 60’s surf band meets girl group garage pop, Acapulco Lips – Awkward Waltz, brings the nostalgia as you’re taken back to the time of LSD dance halls and the original raves – where people rebelled and exemplified the time of eternal love. This Seattle band consists of: Maria Juarez, lead vocals and bass; Christoper Garland, guitar and vocals; and Jordan Adams, drums. The band came together (about) four years ago after Juarez came to the Northwest via Austin, TX and placed a Craigslist ad seeking like minded musicians to play with. It was not too long before she was meeting her future guitarist, Garland. With their self-titled album being released in April of this year through Killroom Records, it has been a busy time for the trio as their schedule continues to fill as their popularity grows. Please enjoy, Acapulco Lips – Awkward Waltz and check out their links below
