Snowden – The Beat Comes

My apologies for the latest track slack, but other writing projects have prevented me from sharing tunes lately. Nevertheless, I’d like to make it up to you by bringing back one from a few years ago with today’s Song of the Day, Snowden – The Beat Comes.

This impressive Brit-pop indie anthem comes to us from the mind of Jordan Jeffares, the man behind Snowden. Starting out in Atlanta, Jeffares eventually made his way to Chicago, then to Brooklyn, before finally settling in Austin. During this time Snowden released their highly touted debut album, Anti-Anti in 2006 through Jade Tree Records before finally settling with Nashville’s Snakes and Serpents label where they released their second album, No One In Control in 2013.

It was throughout these years that saw the band tour and open for headliners like Arcade Fire and Kings Of Leon and build a bit of a name for themselves on the touring circuit. Where they go fro here is up to them and their drive. But, in the meantime, again, please enjoy Snowden – The Beat Comes, and follow/support them through the links below.
