There are some songs that just get your fists pumping and make you want to scream along. Today’s Song of the Day, The Kingston Springs Weight of This World, will make all fans of dirty rock heavy blues do just that.

I wish I could tell you more about them, but not much is known about the middle-Tennessee band. Their website just seems to sell vacuums and razors. Their social media sites only list them as, Ian (vocals), Alex (bass/vocals), Matt (drums), and James (vocals/guitar/keys/trumpet), with no last names to be found. And nothing can really be found on them after the early summer of 2015, as their social media platforms have gone silent. Nevertheless, they let their music do their talking with three albums: The Vacation Time (2010), The Kingston Springs (2012), and Secret Game (2013).

Based out of Nashville, the band has also been seen on past festival circuits, playing Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, and SXSW, to name a few. Hopefully, they’ll be back out there in no time with some new tunes.

In the meantime, please enjoy the outstanding distorted simplicity that is, The Kingston SpringsWeight of the World. You can also follow them on Instagram below and purchase their music on
